What does this mean – living in the flow of life? To me, it means, allowing your energy to open and to receive what comes to you each day.
When you are working to create positive changes in your life, and you have gained clarity on what these changes are, you then have to start doing some of the work/activities/exercises to affirm this, and release your negativity around this.
Then you need to allow yourself to receive, to relax and flow with the life-force energy that is in and around you, at all times.
To live in the flow of life, you need to be relaxed, you need to be trusting and you need to be open to signs. Daily it is important to tune into your inner self, and your inner guidance/the divine source, which originates in your heart centre. It means not being resistant to what is happening in your life right now. Which may mean, changing the way to act/react; changing your perceptions about what is happening, or releasing/walking away from certain people/situations/circumstances in your life.
It means not pushing, forcing, trying to make things happen for you and getting frustrated when they don’t. It means doing what feels right for you, not what others tell you to do and not what you feel like you should be doing but don’t want to do!
It means tuning into your inner guidance and following what you feel drawn to do in the present moment – by following what feels good. If you think of something you could do, and it makes you feel anxious/unmotivated/lacking in energy – this is not the path to follow. But if what you feel drawn to do excites you – then that is your action. That is living in the flow.
“When I run after what I think I want, my days are a furnace of stress and anxiety; if I sit in my own place of patience, what I need flows to me, and without pain. From that I understand that what I want also wants me, is looking for me and attracting me. There is a great secret here for anyone who can grasp it.” Rumi
