Imagine all the people, living life in peace

Wow! What strong energy the first half of 2020 has been so far.  There have been huge collective, emotional outpourings of sadness, grief, fear, anger and love.  The tragedy of the Australian bush-fires and deaths of billions of animals, the divisions that Brexit highlighted in the UK, the unprecedented pandemic which has affected every single one of us across the globe and currently the heart-breaking death of George Floyd and all that that has triggered – the good and bad.  This year seems to be polarising different opinions.  Personally I feel incredibly upset by so much of it, but also totally heartened by the coming together, the solidarity, the community spirit and the inevitable positive changes that will come from so much of this.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.

Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that”

Martin Luther King

Each one of us who chooses love over hate, peace over violence, compassion over cruelty is making a crucial difference to our collective future. We all have a part to play. By consciously creating more peace, love and fulfilment in our own life and our individual part of the planet, we help to raise the vibration of the planet and the collective consciousness of all human beings. Let these passions and emotional awakenings be the catalysts for the vital changes that are needed on this planet. Could this be the year that positive change really happens for the good of all?  Let’s make it happen!

“Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too

Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will live as one”

Jon Lennon
